I love fall clothes, and ever since I became a mom, I especially appreciate items that are flattering, versatile and easy to wear. Here are a few items that I bought this season and have worn over and over again.
1. My overall favorite is this cream blouse from New York and Company. I have worn it to EVERYTHING. It dresses up really well but is still flattering and comfortable enough to dress down with jeans and flats. On sale right now for $21.47. The sizes run a little big, so I would go down one from your normal shirt size. Get it here.
2. This sweatshirt is a casual staple for me. It is a sweatshirt but is seriously so cute and comes in great colors. I got the plum color and I have worn it with jeans, sweatpants, even with a skirt and a blazer. It is a great fall piece that dresses up and down so easily. $36.95 and get the second half off. This one fits true to size. Get it here.
3. This two pocket blouse is so easy to wear with everything. It is flattering to just about any figure and looks great with jeans or dressed up with a skirt and scarf. Comes in lots of great colors and is comfortable and forgiving. On sale for $25. Runs a little big, so you may want to go down a size. Get it here.
4. I am crazy about this sweatshirt that I got from American Eagle. It is so easy to wear and the heather gray looks great with any color of pants. It is a boxy but flattering fit and the side zippers and stitching add a fun detail that makes it a little more special than an average sweatshirt. I have worn it a million times and love it. It runs a little small, so I would go up a size. On sale for $39.99. Get it here.
For pants, I did discover the American Eagle high-rise skinny jean and they have been a great buy if you are looking for something that goes a little higher (high rise meaning hitting a little below your belly button) but still gives a nice fit on the behind. The jeans do stretch, so I went for my "skinny" size and they have been great. On sale for $29.95. Get them here.
And if you missed my boots post, still loving them. Get it here!
