I know I spend a lot of time with m...This is great! I know I spend a lot of time with my kids before concerts (which we go to a lot): "Do we clap during the piece? No, we wait until the end, and we always clap. Do we talk while the band/orchestra is playing? No, we listen carefully. Can you get up and get a drink of water or go to the bathroom? No, we have to do that before the concert starts and wait until intermission or the end. Remember, the band/orchestra worked really hard and they want us to listen to them. It's rude to be distracting to them by talking or moving around and we always want to show our appreciation by clapping at the very end of every piece."
