Most summers we are lucky enough to visit my family in Utah. When we go, the kids always have a list a mile long of all the fun they are planning on having. I was asking some friends and relatives who seem to make the most of their city and came up with quite the list. I figured I might as well share it with you...just in case you ever end up vacationing in Salt Lake City! We will never get to all of these...I'm tired already. For my friends still in SLC or the surrounding areas, what have I forgotten?

ReplyDeleteMe too! I love this list. Also, every third Saturday at UMFA (U of U art museum) they have free admission and free art projects for the kids.
ReplyDeleteOoh, thanks! My second child loves art!!
DeleteGreat info! I posted this to our mommy group here in our ward. Other ideas - the new Natural History Museum up by the U and the new Leonardo museum downtown - they have rotating exhibits downstairs & permanent exhibits upstairs...my oldest & nieces just went today and loved it! Also - was Children's Discovery Museum on there - that paired with the Gateway fountains is also a fun day! Also - the little splash area at City Creek next to the big fountains. Brigham Young house tour. Concerts in the park @ Brigham Park - they are almost nightly during the summer it seems! I'm always amazed just how much there is to do in each area when you sit down and start making the lists!
ReplyDeleteon the idea above for the Art Museum - thanks! We'll put that on the calendar!
Thanks Summer. Love the other ideas too. Can't wait to try them out!!
